Natural Resources Management
The Natural Resources Section is responsible for promoting environmental sustainability and conservation in the Council areas. This is achieved through policy formulation, stakeholder collaboration, environmental impact assessments, awareness raising, natural resources management, and ensuring compliance to set regulations. Through the Natural Resources section, Council collaborates with various state and non-state actors to conserve natural resources, manage human-wildlife conflict and control the impacts of various economic developments in the district.
