Terms Of Reference
Recommends to FULL COUNCIL for ratification of its proceedings
Responsible For: –
Considering ward development plans submitted to it in terms of the rural district councils act section 59(3) and making recommendations to the council on matters to be included in the Annual Development and other long-term plans for the district within which the council is situated.
Preparation of the annual district development plan for approval by the council and assist in the preparation of other long-term plans for the council area.
The district development plan shall be prepared and presented to the council before the 31st May in every year to support council on the implementation of the annual development plan and other long-term plans for the council area.
To exercise such other functions in relation to the annual development plan as may be assigned to it from time to time by council
Composition Of Committee
The committee shall consist of: –
- The District Development Coordinator.
- Chairman of every other committee established by the council
- The CEO of the council and such other officers of the council as the council may determine The senior officer in the district of
- Zimbabwe Republic Police
- Zimbabwe National Army
- The President’s Department
- The district head of each ministry and department of a ministry within the district
- Representatives of other organization within the district as the minister on recommendation of the DA may permit
