Natural Resource Management
Preserving, protecting and improving natural resources in its area and to make recommendations relating these to the council.
Subject to the approval of council to inaugurate and undertake works and other measures for:
- soil and water conservation and the improvement of soil and water sources in its area
- The proper management and use of natural resources, including measures that a conservation committee may be authorized to undertake in terms of any other law
- Ensuring sustainable utilization of natural resources
